The short version. Mindcade has no accounts and no login. Your games run on your device. We don't have a server, and we never see your name, your challenge bets, or your scores — those stay on your device and in your own private iCloud. The free version shows ads through Google AdMob (you can remove them with a one-time purchase), and that's the only part that shares device data with a third party. We don't sell your data, ever.
This Privacy Policy explains how Serenoa Labs LLC ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the Mindcade mobile application (the "App"). By using the App you agree to this policy.
The App stores the following locally on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, in your private iCloud database that only you can access (we cannot read it):
When you share a challenge, the display name and bet text you entered are included in the link you choose to send. We never receive that link.
The free version of the App displays advertising via Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google's SDK may collect:
Before any tracking occurs, you'll see Apple's tracking-permission prompt and, where applicable, a consent form. If you decline, Google serves only non-personalized ads. Allowing personalized ads may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under some U.S. state privacy laws — see Section 9 for your opt-out rights. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
The App also uses Apple's MetricKit to receive aggregated, on-device crash and performance reports so we can fix bugs. This data is processed on your device and does not identify you.
The "Remove Ads" purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. Apple handles your payment details — we never see your card or billing information. We receive only a transaction record confirming the purchase so the App can disable ads.
If you opt in to Game Center, leaderboards and achievements are managed by Apple under your Game Center identity and Apple's privacy terms. This is optional and off unless you enable it.
We do not integrate any other third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Because we keep no personal data on our own servers, the fastest way to exercise most rights is the on-device controls in Section 7. Depending on where you live, you may also have the following rights, and we will honor them.
Email [email protected]. We respond within 45 days (or as applicable law requires) and may need to verify your identity first. You may use an authorized agent. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response.
This website does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals, because it does not track visitors across other sites. Within the App, declining the App Tracking Transparency prompt (Section 7) is the equivalent opt-out from cross-context behavioral advertising.
We operate no servers. The third parties we rely on — Apple (iCloud, Game Center, StoreKit) and Google (AdMob) — may process data in the United States and other countries under their own safeguards and privacy policies. By using the App you understand that any data those providers collect may be processed outside your country.
Mindcade is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from, or knowingly enable interest-based advertising to, children. Our advertising is not configured for child-directed treatment, and we instruct our ad provider not to use children's data for behavioral advertising. If you believe a child has provided personal information or been shown personalized ads, contact us at [email protected] and we will promptly delete it and address the issue.
We do not hold your personal data on our own systems, so there is nothing for us to retain or breach on a server. Data on your device and in your private iCloud is kept until you delete it, and is protected by Apple's device and account security. Advertising and diagnostic data is retained by Google and Apple per their own policies. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, but we keep our data footprint deliberately minimal to reduce risk.
If Serenoa Labs LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, this App may transfer to a successor, who will remain bound by this Policy or will notify you of a new one. In practice, we hold no personal data on our servers to transfer.
We may update this policy as the App evolves (for example, when new features ship). We will post the revised policy here with a new "Last updated" date, and for material changes we will provide a more prominent notice in the App or on this page before the change takes effect.
